B5 Obligation to give way at intersections, B500005
The sign indicates that vehicles and trams must give way to other vehicles and trams at the intersection. When turning at an intersection, you must also comply with the duty to avoid provided for in section 24, subsection 2. In a traffic circle, the sign is used with sign D2. Additional sign H23.1 in conjunction with the sign indicates that the road is crossed by a two-way bicycle path. The additional plate H22.1 or H22.2 in conjunction with the sign indicates a turning road, which vehicles must avoid. Equipped with an additional plate H4, the sign can be used as an advance sign. Equipped with an additional shield H5, the sign can be used as a preliminary sign for the sign B6.
