The number on the sign indicates the maximum permissible speed of the vehicle and the railcar in kilometers per hour in the area limited by the signs. Within the area, the maximum permitted speed can be specified differently with sign C32, E24 or E26. In an area where the speed limit is a maximum of 30 kilometers per hour, there may be bumps, raised pedestrian crossings or other similar structures that are not separately warned about by road signs, or other speed-reducing structures that are not separately indicated by traffic control devices or other similar means.
