The sign indicates that vehicles and trams must give way to cyclists crossing the carriageway on the extension of the cycle path. The sign indicates only the structurally elevated extension of the ring road. However, at a traffic light-controlled road crossing, a sign can indicate an extension of the bike path that is not structurally elevated. The sign can be placed on the right side of the carriageway, above, on a platform on the carriageway or on the left side of the carriageway.
