The sign indicates the cycle path that cyclists must use when driving in the relevant direction. Driving a moped on a cycle path is allowed if it is indicated by an additional text plate "Allowed for mopeds". A two-way cycle path is indicated with an additional plate H23.2 or H9.1. If the two-way cycle path is only on the left side of the road and the use of the small shoulder on the right side of the carriageway or the right edge of the carriageway is safer due to the access route or another similar reason, the cyclist may use the small shoulder or the right side of the carriageway. When riding on a bicycle path, you must follow the provisions of this law regarding riding on the roadway. The sign is placed on the right side or above the cycle path. Exceptionally, the sign can be placed exclusively on the left side of the cycle path.
